The Awakening of Spring for all the Senses

As soon as the days start to draw out again shoots begin to show everywhere: the first to peek through the soil are the snowdrops, daffodils, crocuses and tulips. In the Colour Terraces forget-me-nots, tulips, hyacinths and daffodils brave the light. The Dahlia Arena turns itself into a sumptuous sea of tulips. In March the Rhododendron Valley begins to bloom as a symphony of pink and light red. Early flowerers such as the honeysuckle and the witch hazel even show their multicoloured flowers at the beginning of the year. Enjoy the first warm rays of sunshine on one of the many benches and corners sheltered from the wind in the Grugapark!
